Who we are
dibsy! is an app by Steve Entertainment S.L. (Badan Studios brand), tax ID B19722198, Calle Almendros 1B, 28270 Colmenarejo (Madrid), España. Contact: dibsy@badanstudios.com.
What dibsy! is
An app to share household chores as a game: groups, points, a weekly ranking and whatever you agree to play for. Prizes or forfeits are between you: dibsy! only records them and takes no part in them.
Your account
You must be at least 16 or have permission from a parent or guardian. You're responsible for what you do with your account. You can delete it at any time in the app (My profile → Delete my account). Note: deleting your account doesn't cancel a dibsy!+ subscription; to do that, cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
What you post
You're responsible for the messages, names and photos you upload. Not allowed: illegal, offensive, sexual or violent content, harassing others, or photos of people without their permission. You can report messages, photos or people in the app; we review reports and may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. Group creators can remove other members.
Fair use
Don't try to access other people's data, bypass security measures, automate use of the app or use it for purposes other than intended.
Subscriptions and purchases
dibsy! is free and has optional paid features: dibsy!+ and Boost. Before you buy, you'll see the price in the app, taxes included. Payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) with your store account.
dibsy!+
It's a personal subscription, monthly or yearly, that renews automatically. If a free trial is offered, it becomes paid when it ends. Both the trial and each period renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before they end. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
Boost
It's a one-time purchase for a group, for 1 or 4 weeks, and it doesn't renew automatically. While it's active, its benefits apply to the whole group. The first group each person creates gets a free 14-day Boost trial, once.
Refunds and right of withdrawal
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. When you buy digital content or services that start immediately, you expressly consent to them starting right away and acknowledge that, once they've started, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 103(m) of Spain's consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users).
Changes to features
We may improve, change or remove features of the app. What we won't do is take away a paid feature during a period you've already paid for without refunding the proportional part or compensating you.
Liability
We do our best to keep the app working, but it may have bugs or outages. We're not responsible for agreements, prizes or forfeits between group members.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will let you know in the app. They are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the protection you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence. If you have a problem, write to us at dibsy@badanstudios.com and we'll try to solve it. If we can't, you can go to the courts of your place of residence or to the consumer authorities in your country. Last updated: October 2026.
